Thank you Auntie Min, for the countless gifts,sewn, knitted, crocheted, embroidered with love over the years. One special little dress I wore on coronation day especially cherished as having been in Iraq, Anne and I would not have had access to such things.
Every visit to Birkenhead ended around a table, with a roast and glorious puddings, Min was never happier than in the kitchen with her pinny on make that sublime shortbread for after Mass on Sunday morning.
No doubt when ever you arrived at Loren Road, where you would find Min, but in the kitchen, or if you were chattting and you turned round she was gone scuttling off to get you something.
Never a birthday forgotten or Christmas card, with out a little hand made gift.
Everyone should have an Auntie Min, much loved and missed.
