Charles Stephens recently arranged our mother's funeral. The service from the manager, Kim, was professional, supportive, efficient and courteous. Nothing was too much trouble. Kim kept us fully informed throughout, gave advice where required and was in constant touch. This was very reassuring. We could not have asked for a better service. On the day, Tom and his colleagues, gave us a first class service. They were professional, helpful, respectful, unobtrusive and dignified. We could not have asked any more of the Charles Stephens team and we are very grateful to them.

From the outset, the sensitive and sympathetic quality of the advice we received was excellent. This continued throughout. We are particularly grateful to Diane who kept us fully informed and ensured that our wishes were fully met. On the day of the funeral, everything went smoothly and Tom and his colleagues lent an unobtrusive dignity to an occasion which, by its very nature, was both sad and stressful. On behalf of all David's family and friends, I should like to say "thank you" for making the whole process so much easier for us all.

I have recently lost my lovely husband and went to Charles Stephens in Heswall to arrange his funeral. Diane was so kind and caring and guided me through everything I needed to organise for the funeral. The service that was provided during the planning of the funeral and on the day of the funeral was exceptional and I can't thank them enough. Special thanks also to Phil and the drivers on the day , really lovely, caring company.

Never had to organise a funeral before but Charles Stevens made the whole process so easy. Nothing was too much work and the plans we wanted put in place were followed with dignity and respect. Tom Harrahill was our funeral director and he made sure we were looked after and updated us on every step of the process.

We as a family and l particularly found Charles Stephens to be wonderful when dealing with mum's passing and funeral. A special mention for Kim at Claughton office who was so kind and caring. Thank you for allowing me to leave feedback I have never left any feedback online but I am thrilled to do so on this occasion. My husband passed away and to say I was lost would be an understatement. I knew where to turn because a friend had recently lost her husband also and she had told me just how kind Charles Stephen’s had been to her and how supportive Kate had been with her and the family. From the start to the finish I had a friend in Kate who came to my house to chat and explain what to do and she kept my spirits up the whole time by being so very kind. I’m on my own you see and it was so very new to me all of this. The funeral itself was flawless and the gentlemen on the day were smart and respectful and well organised. Since the funeral one of the other ladies from church lost her husband too and Kate put us in touch together when we saw each other at the funeral home and we have become firm friends. There are 3 of us now who all owe Kate and her team so much thanks. It has been a horrible year for us all and it is very difficult to adjust to life on your own but if find yourself in the same situation then you will be well cared for here and if you need a friend then you are not alone and it does get easier. Everything was done professionally and as requested. Nothing was too much trouble and Anna went above and beyond to help us and support us. Dad was in really good hands and I was confident that he would be looked after, thank you for all the support we had as a family, before and during the funeral.

We cannot recommend Charles Stephens enough. They organised my mother's funeral nearly 30 years ago and my father's funeral just last week. They were so patient, kind and efficient. The day could not have run more smoothly. Charles Stephens ensured we gave my dad the best send off he deserved. From start to finish it was seamless. They found us the most wonderful celebrant, Gayle. One thing that stood out in my mind is that they choose the most beautiful scenic funeral procession route without any traffic hold ups. It was quite magical.

So pleased we made the choice to let Charles Stephens take care of my step fathers funeral. From beginning to end they made a difficult process easier to manage. Meeting Mark in the office who went through everything to start us off, organising the Celebrant Chris Sulej who was amazing to Tom who led the funeral. Mark, Pippa, Tom and all of the bearers and the drivers, really looked after us and made sure everything ran smoothly. From the moment we got in touch, the very first phone call, the preparations and arrangements on the day, every little detail, they gave our loved one the best care possible.
Any questions we had were answered promptly and they kept the family informed. They offered helpful advice and allowed us time to make decisions. Nothing was too much trouble and all our wishes were made possible. Being able to order flowers from a recommended florist, having the obituary posted online, and helping us to get in touch with Reverend Luke, who was amazing.
Our family can not thank Charles Stephens enough and are forever grateful for all their exceptional care and professionalism throughout, during our family’s recent bereavement.
