We couldn’t recommend Charles Stephen’s more highly. They were professional from our first meeting with Anna, at the Bromborough branch. All the staff were empathetic, compassionate and put our needs as a priority. The service was excellent. Communication was brilliant and nothing was too much. They made a very challenging time much easier every step of the way. Richard and his team were fabulous on the day. We could not have asked for anything more. Our guests commented on the high standard too. Thank you so much to all the Charles Stephen team!

Charles Stephens was amazing from day 1 and a call from Tom who was the weekend on-call person. He was so sensitive and guided us through what we needed to do on the Monday afterwards. We contacted Diane who was so helpful, kind and understanding. She helped us every step of the way and treated us like we were her only clients. She gave us as much time as we needed and helped us and supported us through each decision.
On the day the staff at landican and the pall bearers from Charles Stephens couldn't have been any more respectful and supportive. Tom introduced himself and ensured we were all 'ok' (under the circumstances!) with the procedures of the service. We again were led through where and what we needed to be doing.
I would completely recommend them at this time xx

As a family we have just recently had our dad's funeral which we planned with Charles Stephens. The whole experience really was wonderful. From our first phone call with Anna, and our first meeting we were met with kindness, support, a truly professional approach and the knowledge of knowing we could ask anything.... Nothing was too much trouble. Anna's attention to detail to ensure the funeral day was exactly how we wanted it was constant, and all carried out with such a thoughtful approach.
On the day the funeral procession was led by Rachel, who could not have been more compassionate and thoughtful.
I have no hesitation in saying that my dad had a "lovely funeral"; it will be a day we will remember fondly, and I cannot thank Charles Stephens enough for ensuring that outcome for us.

The arrangements were excellent for my sister's funeral and we have received several compliments from those that attended. Attention to detail was amazing even wearing tartan ties.

Anna is absolutely amazing at her job. From the moment we spoke she made us feel at ease. Nothing was too much for her,every question was answered in a caring and understanding manner. She always made us feel relaxed and was very sympathetic. The coffin bearers were very professional and explained what would happen during the day in a caring manner. Everyone was so lovely and made the process of arranging mums funeral smooth.

Excellent and outstanding service from Charles Stephens for my Mums funeral. We couldn’t have asked for anymore from Anna once we had first got in contact. As a family, we always felt fully looked after, and kept in the loop during the whole process.

If you are fortunate to have Anna from Charles Stephen's Bromborough - I can guarantee your final Goodbye to your loved one - will go smoothly and be as perfect as a day you could want. We said Goodbye to our lovely mum and genuinely when you are in a daze and upset losing a loved one, Anna was so gentle and kind in guiding us through what we needed to be aware of and suggested other ideas we hadn't even considered. The pall bearers - were amazing and should not be overlooked for the respect and support they gave us on the day - a day when you feel you are in the hands of other people who provided excellent wrap around support to us as a family. It was my mums decision to prepare her own funeral arrangements and use Charles Stephens and I am so glad she did. They were outstanding and as a family we really couldn't have asked for anything more.

We couldn't have asked for any more. I admit we (thankfully) have nothing to compare their service to, this was a complete unknown to us, but I would highly recommend Charles Stephens. Anna showed kindness, empathy & understanding throughout the whole process, always there for any questions we had and just to chat with when we went to visit Anne. Phil and his team, on the day of the funeral, were fantastic. Everything was calm, we were consulted about and advised of everything that was happening or going to happen during the morning of the funeral and we really can't thank you enough.
