I didn’t realise it at the time but being put in the same class in the 1st year of Wirral Grammar school was the start of a double-act that would bring-out the humorous best and cynical worst of each other, to be unleashed for years to come on Eastham, Bromborough, Ibiza, Benidorm and numerous Girlings Glee Club destinations.
Peter’s approach to life was totally uncompromising – life was for living, and he packed-in several lifetime’s of fun and laughter before leaving us too soon.
Thanks for so many happy memories.
