Mum you were the most caring & nurturing of mothers. You taught us soooo much & encouraged us to expand our knowledge & horizons. I’ll always think of you when I play Scrabble or attempt a cryptic crossword. You will be so missed by everyone who knew you. We marvelled at your positive approach & can do attitude. Fly free now you are no longer suffering & sleep well with your guardian angels.

I’m very fortunate to have known Ivy for over 35 years. She made me feel welcome right from the start.

Everybody loved Ivy. She was devoted to her friends, proud of her family and great fun to be with. Our family has enjoyed so many laughs together. She had a true zest for life and always adopted a positive approach.

Rest in peace Ivy. We’ll all miss you so much but thank you for so many wonderful memories. I couldn’t have wished for a better mother in law.

We are deeply saddened by the passing of Aunt Ivy, the eldest sibling and cherished sister to Norma, Brenda, and Jenny, and our late father, Gordon.

Although I did not get to see Aunt Ivy often while growing up in Canada, I have very fond memories of her and Uncle Keith visiting Whistler and spending an extended stay in Vancouver. I especially remember her wonderful laugh and how full of life she always was. She brought warmth, humour, and energy wherever she went.

Recently we were fortunate to spend time with Aunt Ivy less than two years ago, and she was still spirited and full of life. It is such a blessing to have those memories to hold onto.

Our thoughts are with Ann and Mark, as well as Aunt Norma, Aunt Brenda, Aunt Jenny, and all of Ivy’s family and friends during this difficult time. May the memories of her laughter, kindness, and vibrant spirit bring comfort and peace.

Rest peacefully, Aunt Ivy.
