Messages of Condolence for Angela

Will Phoenix

I met Angela, nearly 20 years ago, through my connection with Nick and the events that we both attend. On many occasions, I was kindly invited to stay over in their Lovely family homes in both Harlow and Moreton. I find myself now smiling as I remember her correcting my swearing in case the kids heard. She will always be remembered by Julia and myself, and now as well, Zane, for her generosity, kindness And most of all her witty sarcasm. She showed always, a true commitment to her family and friends, and her love towards Nick, Ewan, and Megan, which knew no bounds. She recently took my then eight-year-old son Zane under our wing, chatting to him, like an equal, which I know he appreciated. to say she’ll be missed seems Like an inadequate understatement ,as she leaves behind A void in many hearts that will never ever be filled. The many happy memories we all share of her will ,I hope , keep us warm in the cold days ahead. rest in peace My friend and rest assured that Nick and your children will always be cared for and loved by us.

Angela, Thank you for all the wonderful memories we shared together. The laughs, the tears, the play dates, the crazy nights out together but most importantly your friendship. You are one in a million. Sleep peacefully ❤️

Nick, Megan and Ewan. My thoughts are with you all xxx

Galaxy Netball Club

Angela “Coach Roach” joined our community several years ago, initially bringing Megan to join the club. Which led to Angela becoming an integral member of Galaxy as a player herself and later gaining her coaching qualification, to join us on the coaching team; in recent years Angela committed her time to manage her Team Titan!

All the Galaxy family send their heartfelt condolences to Nick, Megan and Ewan at this difficult time.

Angela will be dearly missed by us all.

Angela, thanks for being such an amazing colleague while working at the Liverpool City Region. I’ve always been grateful for the patience and time you made to explain things to me when I first began working with you.

You brought such an energy to the workplace, always took an interest in people and made time for a chat while making a cup of tea. Since I got the news of your passing, I’ve been thinking a lot about how people always say ‘people won’t remember what you said, but they will remember how they made you feel’, when working with you I always felt listened to and grateful for the sincere interest you took in the lives of the people around you.

Megan and Ewan, I can’t tell you just how highly your Mother spoke of you both at work and how proud she was of all of your achievements.

Nick, Megan and Ewan my thoughts are with all of you through this difficult time.

Goodbye Ange. We are going to miss you and I am going to miss my mate on the sidelines! Rest in peace.

Caroline and Lily Gavin

Our thoughts and love are with all of Angela’s family and friends. Coach ‘Roach’ was such a generous, positive, and inclusive person – Lily will miss her great leadership and encouragement, her warm smile, and witty dry humour.

Emma

I’m so sorry to hear this, Angela was always so lovely and thoughtful to me and the team.

Angela, so sudden and cruelly taken from us. You will be greatly missed, but you live on in those beautiful children.
I’ll forever remember the Cyprus holidays with you and Tracey. You were never one to be told what to do! With much love, rest easy Angela. Huge hugs for Nick, Megan and Ewan, can’t imagine how you guys are coping coming to terms with this massive loss, with our love Beth & family xx

Saturday mornings at netball won’t be the same without Angela. She was such a lovely woman, a great coach and so easy to talk to. I’ll miss our side line chats and laughs and the girls will miss her dearly. You are in our thoughts Nick, Ewan and Megan. Angela was taken far too soon. Sending love & strength xx

Nan Roach

With lots of love Nan and Tracy xx

Paula Crocker

Angela was my daughter’s netball coach for the Deeside and Merseyside leagues. She selflessly gave up her time to allow the girls to play the game they love. She was always so kind and supportive to Sophia and will be fondly remembered. Our sincere condolences to her family at this deeply upsetting and tragic time. So much love to everyone. Love Paula and Sophia. Xxx

I have really been putting off writing a tribute to you Angela, because I just cannot believe it. Such a shock to say the least. I will always remember fondly our laughs at work – you, me, Erica and Graeme. You’re wicked sense of humour. And of course that infamous Christmas night out where we danced the legs of ourselves and had such a laugh. I was replaying the video of us and looking at the pics, such fun. This is how I’ll remember you – that laugh, that smile! Also the tips you shared with me the last time we met, about raising teens. I will remember your wise words and keep them close. ‘Til we meet again Angela xxx

Sending lots of love to Angela’s family at this extremely difficult time xxx
