How lucky was I to have such a kind and beautiful Godmother. Auntie Chris was one of my driving inspirations in becoming a teacher and I had the pleasure of seeing her teach her little people on a placement back in 1988. 32 years later and I definitely made the right choice to follow in her footsteps. Her light shines within those she loved forever x

I first met your Mum when we were young. You introduced your mates by nickname, so she knew me as ‘Clayt.’ She was always interested in us as your mates, always caring, always smiling and laughing. I’m so sorry to hear that your Mum has passed. We are sending you and the family our love & best wishes, Simon & Debs x

Sending love and our deepest sympathy to all the Cade family.
Chris was one in a million, a kind , sweet soul and a very capable woman. We will always remember her with fondness and often think about the lovely holidays we shared with her and Mike in Provence. They were really good times.

In memory of an amazing woman who has given me a particularly seminal moment in my life. As my first ever primary teacher, I will never forget the kindness she showed to me and the way she made me feel safe, cared for and important. If I, as a primary teacher, could ever achieve that for just one child, I’ll be happy that I’ve made a difference. ‘Let me drop this pin… can you hear it fall?’. Mrs Cade, your spirit and warmth will shine through every child that you ever taught.

Jo Foord

Sending so much love to you Jen and all the family. You are constantly in my thoughts. Here if you need anything.

Chris Cade was my brother’s mother-in-law and was wonderful to me. I was invited to stay at Mike and Chris’ place in Provence during the summer holidays when Nick, Jenny, Ben and then Nicole were staying. I have a great memories of cups of tea and Chris’ homemade fruit cake in the afternoon, then G&Ts in the evening before dinner on the terrasse looking over the swimming pool. Wonderful times! Chris was a true lady with a heart of gold. A great Mum and a great friend to those who knew her.

Tut, Jane & Monty

A fantastic lady and mother to a fantastic family. Chris & Mike have been like a second mum and dad to Em and I. Always so welcoming, loving and generous. We will miss her enormously. Love to all the Cadeys xxxxxxxxx

Corinthians 13 will always remind me of mum ❤️ Love was her greatest gift xxx

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It does not dishonour others, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth.
It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.
Love never fails.

And now these three remain; faith, hope and love.
But the greatest of these is love.

Jenifer Taylor

Always in our thoughts,
Your loving cousin
