She was truly an extraordinary woman—funny, loyal, hardworking, and caring. Her presence brought joy and comfort to those around her, and she will be sorely missed by all of us who had the privilege of knowing her.
A Wonderful Partner
As Mark’s partner, she was nothing short of fantastic. Her ability to keep him grounded, whether it was with a raised eyebrow or the occasional, affectionate “Mark!”, showcased the strength and warmth of their relationship.
A Sudden Farewell
The end came quickly, but we take solace in knowing that her pain is over. Although tough times lie ahead, we want Mark to know that we are here for him always, ready to offer whatever support he needs. And perhaps, when needed, we will offer the odd raised eyebrow in her honour.

I’ve known Nicki for over 30 years. She’s instructed me in some very bizarre cases many/most of which involved a lot of humour. I don’t know if she did it deliberately, but I always found it interesting and fun doing one of her cases, and talking about it with her. Last case I did for her was a client from Martinique who was a real character and sent us a picture of a 300 kg Marlin that he had caught on rod and line, stretched across his little motor boat out in the ocean. That was typical of the kind of cases we did. Nicki had a really dry sense of humour and I was truly shattered when I heard she’d passed away. You have my deepest condolences.

When I think of Nicki I smile. She made such a difference to Mark’s life from day one that I believe she was sent to him, she was his perfect match. I was quite in awe of her – her force of nature personality, her single mindedness , her humour and of course her beauty – oh those big brown eyes and hair I’d have killed for! She was a welcoming and warm host, particularly the Sausage Festival, when she even brewed her own beer. Nicki’s Nog, I believe.
Nicki we will always remember you with a warm smile and with gratitude, firstly for making Mark so happy and secondly, that we got to know even a tiny bit of you. Sleep easy. Vik xxx
