Auntie Beryl was such a lovely person. We are so sad that we didn’t get to say goodbye to her due to the restrictions in place. If times were different I would have taken my mum to visit her in the nursing home. When I last visited auntie Beryl she was so lovely to my mum and they hugged each other. Auntie Beryl could see that my mum was ill and continued to cuddled her throughout the visit. It was so lovely to see the bond they had. They were not only close cousins but best friends too and in better times saw each other regularly at keep fit before ill health robbed them of this activity. I remember as a child auntie Beryl often coming for tea with uncle Tony and my cousins. Mum would make a tangerine fresh cream trifle and a strawberry trifle. We would then be invited back which I loved as it gave me a chance to play with my cousins. RIP auntie Beryl reunited with uncle Tony. X
