It has always been our aim to ensure that you have the minimum of worry and inconvenience at a time of bereavement. We are keen to offer advice and support wherever necessary to help with your funeral arrangements.

At Charles Stephens our supportive staff can help compose and place obituary notices and acknowledgements with Wirral newspapers, or if you prefer by way of cards or letters. We can also arrange personalised printing on your behalf. Orders of Service for the funeral can be produced after liaising with Clergy and all concerned with regard to content and format. These can include a photograph and messages of thanks. Memorial cards can provide friends and family with a small keepsake in memory of their loved one.

Funeral service sheets can be selected from a wide variety of styles, and can incorporate photographs or images that you would like printed. We can also print funeral pew cards and funeral attendee cards.

Books of Remembrance are available for completion by the congregation on the day of the funeral. Please ask a Charles Stephens Funeral Director to see our selection.

The gentle beauty of flowers expresses your personal remembrance and brings comfort to the bereaved. We can arrange these on your behalf, using our own local, high quality Wirral florist. Charles Stephens Funeral Directors can put you in touch with them to discuss your particular requirements, or you can look through our brochure to select your tribute from the wide range of funeral arrangements available. We frequently take instructions from people unable to attend a funeral to provide a tribute on their behalf.

From a full coffin spray in roses, to a simple wreath or a bespoke design, shown here is just a small selection from the wide variety of tributes that are available.

Following cremation we can arrange for these to be forwarded or placed in the Garden of Remembrance or at any area of your choice. Further directions will be taken with regard to flowers following the funeral service.

We at Charles Stephens try to help make the day of the funeral run as smoothly as possible and to this end we will even take care of refreshments and funeral catering at a venue of your choice, including your home. The day of the funeral can be traumatic enough and by letting us look after your post funeral arrangements as well, you can be confident that all involved will be well looked after in a caring and considerate manner.
